Unpaid work for man found guilty of Kettering sex assault

A man convicted of sexually touching a woman in Kettering has been sentenced to unpaid work.

Bill Connors, 20, was found guilty of sexual assault after a trial before magistrates in Northampton over an incident in June.

Last week Connors, of Braybrooke Road in Desborough, was sentenced to a community order with 200 hours of unpaid work.

He must also take part in a sex offender rehabilitation programme and was ordered to pay his victim £300 in compensation.

Connors will also be on the register for sex offenders for five years.
