He was taken to the Weekley Wood Justice Centre in Kettering where he then assaulted a special constable.

Russell, 35, later admitted two counts of assault and one count of assaulting an emergency worker.

Earlier this month magistrates in Northampton sentenced him to a community order and ordered him to complete 100 hours of unpaid work.

Russell must also take part in rehabilitation activities and pay the special constable £100 in compensation.

Each of the Corby assault victims will receive compensation of £50.

Magistrates also ordered Russell to pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £90.
