Two slashed in Wellingborough

An investigation has been launched after two teenagers were slashed in Wellingborough.

The 18-year-old men were found with injuries in Kestrel Lane on the Hemmingwell estate at about 1am yesterday (Sunday) and officers taped off Guillemot Lane and an alleyway nearby.

Police do not yet know where they were attacked.

One was left with injuries to the back of his head with the other suffering injuries to his chest and arms.

A police spokesman said their injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
