Two Northampton men in court next month facing 19 charges in connection with burglary in the town

Two Northampton men will appear in court next month facing 19 charges in connection with a burglary in the Mounts area of the town.

Lee Sherlock, 44, of Colwyn Road, and 41-year-old Ricky Scarley, of College Street, were both been arrested following a break-in on Sunday (September 6).

A number of items were stolen including a car and some bank cards which were allegedly then used at various locations in Northampton.

Following a fast-paced Northamptonshire Police investigation led by Detective Sergeant Terry Rush form the Burglary Team West, Sherlock was charged with burglary, five counts of fraud, theft from a motor vehicle and going equipped for burglary

He is also charged with theft of a motor vehicle, driving with no licence and no insurance.

Scarley is charged burglary, five counts of fraud, theft of a motor vehicle and theft of a motor vehicle.

Both men will next appear at Northampton Crown Court on October 7.
