Two men treated in hospital following ‘disorder’ in Northampton town centre

A man has been arrested by police after ‘disorder’ was reported in the Horse Market area of Northampton this morning.

Officers were called to the town centre at about 4.15am this morning .

As a result of the incident, a man aged 32 and another man aged 19 were treated at Northampton General Hospital. They have since been released.

Police subsequently arrested a 21-year-old man.

The incident saw part of Horse Market cordoned off by police this morning.

Officers are today examining evidence, including CCTV footage of the area.
