Two men seriously injured after head-on crash on busy Northampton road

Appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision in Northampton

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after two men sustained serious injuries following a collision on Talavera Way in Northampton.

At about 5.45pm on Saturday, February 1, a silver Mercedes E250 Estate and a gold Renault Megane were involved in a head-on collision between the Southfields and Great Billing Way roundabouts.

As a result of the collision, the 66-year-old driver of the Mercedes sustained serious leg and chest injuries and the 38-year-old driver of the Renault Megane sustained serious leg injuries. Both men were taken to the University Hospital Coventry.
