Two men arrested after attempted burglary in Northampton

Two men have been arrested in connection with an attempted burglary in Kingsthorpe, Northampton.

Three men are believed to have climbed over a fence into the garden of a property in Tollgate Close, before trying to smash a window. The window failed to break and the offenders ran off after climbing back over the fence.

The incident took place at about 9.15am on Friday, October 14.

All three suspects were men. The first was white, in his mid-20s, 6ft, with brown hair, of slim build and wearing a red top. The second was also white, in his mid-20s, 6ft and of slim build, He was wearing a blue top and blue tracksuit bottoms.

The third suspect was wearing a grey top.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.

Two men, aged 19 and 23, have been arrested in connection with this incident and released on bail, pending further enquiries.
