Two charged with attempted murder after Kettering stabbing

Two men have been charged with attempted murder over a stabbing in Kettering in 2018.

Police cordoned off a flat in London Road, near the old magistrates' court, after an incident in a stairwell at about 5pm on August 26.

During the incident a man was stabbed in the legs multiple times and was taken to hospital in a serious condition but survived.

More than two years later two suspects have been charged with attempted murder and robbery.

They are Sardou Bah, formerly of Kettering, and Hamza Haddadi.

Bah, 45, appeared before Northampton Magistrates' Court in a brief hearing yesterday (Thursday) and was remanded in custody at HMP The Mount.

He will next appear at Northampton Crown Court on March 29.

Haddadi, 20, also currently remanded, was due to appear over videolink but the hearing was adjourned.

He will appear before magistrates in Northampton on February 23.
