A large number of hammer drills have been stolen from a warehouse on the A45 near Wellingborough.
Police are warning people to be careful if they are offered a hammer drill to buy as they could be one of the stolen tools, which were destined for Homebase stores.
The stolen drills are Stanley FatMax 18v lithium hammer drills, model number: FMC620LB. They were stolen over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, December 21-22.
The drills normally retail at about £150 each and the police are warning people that if they are offered one for less, it could be stolen and they should contact police.
