Thugs jailed for attacking man near Northamptonshire underpass then breaking his hands

Two men have each been jailed for seven years for an attack near a Northamptonshire underpass in which they stamped on the victim's hands.

Shannon Johanson and Jay Coles were sentenced at Northampton Crown Court following the attack in Ellfield Court, Abington, on May 24 last year.

The victim was attacked as he walked out of the underpass to the Billing Brook Road shops. The pair then stamped on his hands, resulting in fractures.

Johanson, aged 23, of Wade Meadow Court, Lings, was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and sentenced to seven years and six months in jail.

Coles, aged 21, of Oak Grove, Cherry Orchard, was also found guilty of the same offence and sentenced to seven years.
