Police have uncovered three cannabis factories in Rushden following raids in the town.

A Misuse of Drugs Act warrant was executed at a flat in Park Road on Thursday afternoon (June 6), where two men and a woman were arrested.

Drugs equipments, scales and an air pistol were recovered from inside the property and a large carrier bag filled with cannabis deals was found outside the back window.

The men and the woman, who were renting the property, have been evicted.

On Friday evening (June 7), officers executed another warrant at a property in Crabb Street and discovered a small cannabis factory of 13 plants.

The householder, a woman, received a caution and the factory was dismantled.

On Saturday, officers raided a property in Purvis Road where a cannabis factory with 61 plants was discovered.

A man has been charged on suspicion of drugs offences and is due to appear before court on June 25. The police have named the arrested man as Steven Milner Williams, 42, of Purvis Road, Rushden.
