Police officers pursued a vehicle through Northamptonshire for almost an hour after it failed to stop.
Officers noticed the vehicle, which was wanted in relation to a crime, at about 10.30pm on Monday night in Daventry.
They tried to stop it, but the vehicle drove off. However it was spotted again later, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, and police cars, a dog unit, and three firearms units plus the force’s helicopter were called out.
The car was then pursued for 57 minutes until it was stopped using a ‘stinger’ tyre shredder near Chipping Warden.
Three men were subsequently arrested and taken for questioning.
