Thieving employee stole £10,000 watch from Wellingborough depot

A thief who stole a luxury watch from a Wellingborough depot was caught out after his crime was captured on CCTV.

Delivery company TNT launched an investigation when a customer reported not receiving the £10,000 Jaeger-LeCoultre watch, which should have been delivered from their depot in Sinclair Drive on the Park Farm Industrial Estate.

They checked the package history and CCTV footage and saw employee Robert Kantorysinski, 35, stealing two packages from a shelf inside the warehouse on May 22.

One contained two fire blankets - and the other contained the luxury watch.

When he was arrested police found he was also driving a black Audi A8 despite being banned and having no insurance.

At Northampton Magistrates' Court Kantorysinski, of Robin Road, Corby admitted theft, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance

He was granted unconditional bail and will be sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on October 9.
