Three teenagers were set upon by a gang of six attackers in an early hours robbery in Wellingborough.

The 17-year-old victims were walking through the town centre at about 2am yesterday (Sunday) and reached the corner of Upper Havelock Street and Poplar Street when they were attacked.

One of the boys was punched in the face, causing a nosebleed and a cut under his eye.

A police spokesman said another of the boys had his Canada Goose gilet and Tommy Hilfiger bag stolen which also contained some air pods.

No arrests have been made in connection with the attack and no descriptions of suspects were available.

Police are investigating the incident and anyone with information should contact them on 101.
