Teenagers abusing shop staff amid reports of more anti-social behaviour in Kettering

Groups of teenagers have been engaging in anti-social behaviour around Kettering this half term.
Northamptonshire Police say there have been a few reports about anti-social behaviour in Kettering in the past few days.

Hide AdA spokesman for the force said: "The incidents have mainly been in Lower Street near Morrisons where 10-15 young people aged 13-15 have been causing a nuisance using trollies and shouting at staff and members of the public.
"Some of them were on bicycles."
At around 2.15pm today there were reports that this group of teens were causing issues at McDonalds drive-thru in Northfield Avenue.
They were also reported to police for abusing staff at Asda in Northfield Avenue.
The news comes just after Kettering's police team said they had identified around 30 to 40 youths involved in anti-social behaviour since Christmas and had sent more than 50 warning letters.There have been additional allegations of anti-social behaviour made on Facebook today (Wednesday).

Hide AdNorthamptonshire Police are asking members of the public to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour.
Officers said they were seeing reports of anti-social behaviour on Facebook as opposed to it being reported. They said reporting incidents enables police to deal with the situation quicker.
