Teenage boy punched in Corby attack

A teenager was punched in the face by another youth in Corby.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the assault in Gainsborough Road between 4.25pm and 4.35pm on Thursday (February 28).

The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was approached by another teenage boy who pushed him before punching him in the face.

A police spokesman said: "The offender is described as white, 17-years-old, 5ft 7in, of a stocky build with short scruffy blond hair.

"He was wearing a grey Nike jumper with logos down the arm, grey tracksuit bottoms and white and black Nike trainers.

"Anyone with information or who may have witnessed this incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 2000011."
