Stop and search finds 50 wraps of class A drugs in Kettering

A stop and search took 50 wraps of class A drugs off the streets of Kettering yesterday (Monday).

The Kettering Police Team was in Market Place at 12.40pm when they used their powers to search a man and found the drugs.

The wraps of crack cocaine and heroin had a street value of about £300.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
