A six-year-old girl had her hair grabbed by a man in Kettering’s High Street on Saturday morning (November 2).
The youngster was with her mother and father outside Nationwide between about 10.20am and 10.40am when a man approached from behind and grabbed the girl by her hair.
The girl’s parents intervened, along with other members of the public, and the man walked off.
He is described as white, aged about 35 to 40, about 5ft 6in, with a stocky build.
He had short, mousey brown hair and was wearing a red and black lumberjack-type jacket.
It is believed a second man was with him, possibly a carer. This man is described as black and about 6ft.
