A woman feared for her safety when a sex pest sent her explicit videos and messages after putting his phone number through her window.

Modestas Lepsys admitted obscene communications after contacting his victim when he spotted her in her bedroom in the Abington area of Northampton in July.

On Thursday (January 30) Northampton Magistrates' Court heard Lepsys, 26, walked past the house and put his hand through the window and left a message with his number on it.

He then returned with a message that said "text me". She contacted him to ask 'what sort of joke it was'.

Lepsys, of Derby Road in Northampton, sat with his head in his hands as prosecutor Stella Moses told the court he then tracked her down on Facebook and sent her naked videos and explicit messages, leaving her scared.

The Lithuanian national later came back to the victim's house for a third time.

Ms Moses said: "She (the victim) went on holiday for two weeks and when she came back he was in the street staring at her."

In a statement read out in court, the victim said: "The whole incident has made me fear for my safety.

"I do not want to walk home after work."

Mitigating, Alistair Evans said Lepsys had stopped contacting the victim once police became involved.

Chairman of the bench Mignon French granted Lepsys conditional bail for a pre-sentencing report.

Lepsys will be sentenced at the same court on February 20.
