Safety advice will be offered to women and teenage girls at community events in Rushden and Higham Ferrers next month.
The events are being run by the East Northants Safer Community Team.
The sessions are designed to outline basic safety advice to women and teenage girls, from walking alone at night, staying safe while drinking in the town centre to domestic abuse.
The first will be at the Pemberton Centre in HE Bates Way, Rushden on Wednesday 6 February (from 7pm).
The second will be at Higham Ferrers Infants’ School in Wharf Road, Higham Ferrers on Monday 18 February (from 7pm).
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “If you live in the Rushden and Higham area then please come along – and don’t forget to bring any mothers, daughters, sisters and friends who you think may be interested!”
