Police released a video of Friday's raid which ended with a 37-year-old man who was at the address being arrested on suspicion of drugs offences. He has since been released but remains under investigation.

PC Ferelith Hibberd said: "We had received a steady stream of intelligence to suggest that this property was being used for dealing drugs.

"When the public call up and give us intelligence like this I think they're not always sure what happens to it, not sure if anything gets done or if we just put it on our system.

"Getting all that intelligence together and getting a warrant so we could go through the door is just a brilliant result.

"People are at home with the Covid-19 situation are more in tune of what's going on in their streets and aware when things are a looking bit odd so they are able to call 101 and report what they have seen.

"All this data gets collected and so we're able to go through the door like this and get a positive result.

"I'm still in my first five weeks of tutoring so conducting this warrant, going from getting intelligence going in front of magistrates to obtain the warrant and going through the door to get this positive result is amazing."

Chief Constable Nick Adderley tweeted: "Fantastic work team thank you and a special thanks and well done to Ferelith who brilliantly articulates what we do with community intelligence —and with only five weeks service. Excellent!"
