'Pre-planned warrant' saw armed police in Rushden town centre
Nobody was arrested
Armed police were in Rushden yesterday (Sunday) for a pre-planned warrant, police have confirmed.
Several police vehicles and armed officers were seen around High Street and Church Street in the afternoon, as a police helicopter hovered above with roads closed off.

Hide AdToday a Northamptonshire Police spokesman confirmed they were executing a pre-planned warrant in Church Street at about 12.30pm.
But the spokesman said the warrant was "negative", with no arrests or seizures.
