Police hunting four teenage thugs after shocking attack on 12-year-old in Northampton

Four teenagers launched a shocking attack on a 12-year-old out riding his bike in Northampton.

Police are looking for two boys and two girls who pulled the youngster off his bike and punched him repeatedly in the Kings Heath area on Monday.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "The boy was stopped by four teenagers – two boys and two girls — as he rode his bike in the Kings Heath Field and Nene Drive area between 4.30pm and 4.50pm on Monday, June 22.

"He was pulled off his bike and on to the ground before being punched him several times, causing minor injuries.

"All the offenders are described as being white, aged 13-14, 5ft 1in and of a slim build.

"The first boy had short brown hair, freckles and was wearing glasses, a white t-shirt, shorts and white Nike Airforce One trainers, while the second boy was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts and black trainers.

"The first girl had dark brown wavy long hair and was wearing a yellow crop top and denim shorts, and the second girl had dark brown straight shoulder length hair, and was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt with ruffles around the sleeves and black denim shorts.
