Police appeal for witnesses to Wellingborough Morrisons' car park hit and run
Northamptonshire Police are looking for witnesses to a hit and run in Wellingborough on Thursday, October 17.
A woman was hit in the Oxford Street supermarket car park by a silver Ford Transit van that had no glass in its wing mirrors.
The woman and her friend were walking through Morrison's car park between 12.25 and 12.25 noon when the van passed and struck her and then reversed.
The woman was almost knocked over and needed medical attention for her injuries, which are not believed to be serious.
The man driving the van failed to stop to check on the victim or provide details. He shouted an apology before driving off with his female passenger.
