Police appeal for key witness to come forward over Northampton town centre assault

Police investigating an assault in Northampton town centre last year have released a image of a man they believe may have key information.

Officers revealed they were called to an incident at St Stephens House, a block of flats near Grafton Street, between 6pm and 8pm on November 5.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "An incident of public order took place which resulted in a man being assaulted.

"Officers are appealing for this man or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch as we believe he may hold information which would aid our investigation.

"Anyone with information can call us on 101 using incident number 20000585864. Or, alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
