Police appeal after second pedestrian hit by car on Corby street within two months

Traffic police have appealed for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision on Oldland Road, Corby, last night (Wednesday, February 6).

A 50-year-old pedestrian was hit by a blue Vaxhall Zafira on the road that runs alongside the Snatch Hill Estate at about 8.10pm. The air ambulance was called to the scene following the incident and the pedestrian was taken to University Hospital Coventry suffering from a head injury.

It is close to the spot where a 79-year-old man was hit on December 15, 2019. He sadly died in hospital on December 28.

Officers have asked local people to check dashcam footage and to contact them if they saw anything that could help.
