Eloise Burton-Cope, now of Milton Keynes, appeared at Northampton Crown Court and pleaded not guilty to murdering Leon Cope. However, she pleaded guilty to manslaughter by reason of lack of intent.

Baby Leon died on March 31 last year as a result of head injuries sustained at their home in south Northamptonshire. He was admitted to Milton Keynes Hospital on Saturday, March 29, and was later transferred to John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he sadly died.
