Detectives have issued fresh CCTV images of a man they want to speak to following a sex assault in Northampton.

Police revealed they were hunting a bald man with a beard believed to be in his 50s who groped a woman as she got off a bus in Kingsthorpe on Monday (July 6).

The victim was touched and targeted by obscene language before the offender rode off on a dark or possibly black bike.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "Officers investigating the incident believe this man may have information which could assist with their enquiries, and are appealing for him or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch.

"The incident took place at about 2.30pm on Monday, July 6, at a bus stop opposite the recreation and playground on Obelisk Rise, when a man approached a woman, groped her and spoke to her in an obscene way, before riding away on a bike.

"If anyone recognises the man in these photos or has any information that would help with our investigation, please call 101 using reference number 20000345026. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
