A group of teenagers were dragged, punched and threatened with weapons during a terrifying attack in Northampton.
The three victims, who are in their late teens, were walking towards Sandhurst Close at the back of Trilogy Gym at Danes Camp when they were approached from behind by a group of six to eight males, aged around 15 to 20.
One of the victims turned and was punched in the face by a member of the group, who he believes may have been wearing a knuckleduster.
The gang then attacked all three victims after demanding they hand over bags and phones.
One of the victims was dragged to the floor, punched several times and had his bag taken stolen, and another had what was believed to be a knife held to his stomach.
The offenders then ran off in the direction of Abbeyfield School.
The suspects are described as being black or mixed-race, aged 15 to 20, and were wearing tops with the hoods up and bandana face coverings showing just their eyes.
The incident happened at around 10pm on Monday (August 15).
