Man threatens to stab woman and her friend in Kettering's town centre

A man told an 18-year-old woman and her friend that he would stab them in Kettering's Market Place.

The victim was walking in the street with her male friend at about 7.30pm on Friday (July 31) when they passed a man and a woman who threatened them.

One of the threats included the male suspect saying he would stab them.

Nobody was injured during the incident.

A police spokesman said the male suspect was described as white and dressed in all black with a dark beard.

The spokesman added that the woman was described as white with blonde hair and wearing a coloured floaty dress.

Anyone with information that may help a police investigation should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
