A police investigation is underway after a man was knocked unconscious and robbed as he cycled through Billing Aquadrome in Crow Lane, Northampton on December 5.

The incident took place between 10pm and 10.15pm when the cyclist stopped at the public toilets and went inside, leaving his bike and bag in the doorway.

The man, as he stood inside the cubicle, was struck on the back of the head which he believes then caused him to lose consciousness.

When the man eventually came around, he discovered that £100 in cash and a white iPhone 11 was missing from his jacket. His black and red Carrera mountain bike had also been taken along with his NIKE drawstring bag containing clothing.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in Billing Aquadrome between the stated times, or who may have been offered such items for sale in unusual circumstances.”
