Man with knife in Corby 'disarmed with force' by people he was threatening

A man with a knife was taken to hospital after two people he was threatening used force to disarm him in Corby.

Police officers and ambulance crews were at Sturton Walk on the Lincoln estate after the incident at about 5.45pm yesterday (Sunday).

An altercation, which originated inside a house, broke out and saw one man threatening two others with a knife.

A police spokesman said: "The two other men have then used force to disarm the suspect and protect themselves and during this, the suspect has sustained a head injury.

"He was taken to KGH but is okay now."

A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted GBH in connection with the incident.
