Man hurt in GBH attack at Wellingborough flat

A group attack on a man in a Wellingborough flat is being treated as GBH, police have confirmed.

Officers are appealing for information after the pre-Christmas incident left the victim with a deep cut to his head.

The man was inside a property in The Embankment when the attackers came in through an unsecured door and assaulted him between 2.20pm and 4pm on December 20.

A police spokesman said further details are not known at this stage but said the victim is recovering from the attack, which they are treating as GBH.

They said: "It’s not known what was used to inflict these injuries.

"He (the victim) has no life-threatening or life-changing injuries, however."
