Man charged after four car pile-up in Kettering

A man was arrested yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) after four cars were involved in a collision in Britannia Road, Kettering.

The man was arrested at around 4.45pm after the incident, which involved a silver Audi Q5, a blue Citroen C5, a blue Nissan Note and a black Volkswagen passat.

The arrested man, Mantas Pilkauskas, 27, of Ford Street, Kettering, was driving the black Volkswagen passat.

He has been charged with failing to provide a sample of breath, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.

There were no injuries but one woman was taken to A&E as a precaution.
