Man, 22, sentenced after smashing windows of two cars and searching them in Northampton

He was handed a six week sentence for both offences, suspended for 12 months

A 22-year-old man has been sentenced for two counts of theft from a motor vehicle after smashing the windows of two cars in Northampton.

Levi Jordan Griffiths, 22, of no fixed abode was charged in connection with an incident in Perry Street in December 2020 where a man smashed the window of a black BMW 1 Series and searched it untidily.

Griffiths was additionally charged in connection with a similar incident that took place in Ashburnham Road last month where a man smashed the window of a red BMW 1 Series and made an untidy search of it.
