Police are investigating after offenders stole machinery and tools from a storage unit next to the Morrison’s Petrol Station on Kettering Road in Northampton.

The incident took place between 3.30pm on Saturday December 5 and 7.30am on Monday December 7.

Officers believe the burglars used an angle grinder to break into the storage unit, which backs on to some allotments, and stole machinery and tools.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously either near to the allotments or the petrol station between the stated times.”
