A Corby man convicted of sexually assaulting a woman at a London Underground station has been given a last chance.

Francis McLister, 40, had originally been given a community order at Westminster Magistrates' Court after sexually touching his victim at Brixton's underground station on December 22, 2018.

As part of his punishment he had to attend appointments, which are often for rehabilitation activities and added as a condition to a sentence.

But in November and December he failed to do so and last week he was hauled in front of magistrates again in Northampton.

McLister, of Sargent Road, had his community order revoked and was instead jailed for 12 weeks suspended for a year.

He must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and take part in rehabilitation activities.

Magistrates also ordered him to pay court costs of £60.
