Large quantity of garden machinery stolen from Kingsthorpe Cemetery

Numerous items of '˜Stihl' garden machinery have been stolen from Kingsthorpe Cemetry in Northampton.

Thieves broke into a building in the cemetery grounds in Harborough Road and stole three strimmers, a chainsaw, hedge cutters, hand blowers, a back pack blower plus petrol and diesel.

All the stolen equipment is orange and white.

They were taken between 3.30pm on Tuesday, May 31 and 7.30am yesterday (Wednesday, 1 June).

Officers are urging anyone with information about the stolen items or who saw any suspicious activity in the area during the times mentioned above to contact police.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
