Large amount of fishing equipment stolen in Kettering burglary

A large amount of fishing equipment was stolen during a burglary in Crown Street, Kettering, overnight on Friday, June 1, into Saturday, June 2.

Sometime between 10pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday, an offender broke into a number of secured outbuildings at the rear of a property in Crown Street.

During the burglary a large amount of valuable fishing equipment was stolen, including Shimano Fishing reels, a selection of fishing rods as well as other assorted fishing equipment totally several thousand pounds.

Also taken was a Gitane Urban silver and oragne bike with a distinctive oversized gel sadle.

No-one was seen in the area at the time of the burglary and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.
