'Large' amount of Class A drugs found in Kettering raid

A man has been charged after police found heroin and crack cocaine in a county lines raid in Kettering.

Police swooped on an address in Poppy Fields, just off Rothwell Road, and forced the door at about 10.30am yesterday (Monday).

They found a man in possession of 'large' amount of class A drugs, cash and mobile phones.

A subsequent search of an address in Birmingham found more drugs, more cash and more mobile phones.

Tyrese Briscoe, 20, of Durley Road in Birmingham, has since been charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.

He appeared before magistrates in Northampton today (Tuesday) and is set to appear at Northampton Crown Court next month.
