Kettering sex offender failed to tell police his details
He breached the requirements of the register for sex offenders
A registered sex offender from Kettering has been given an electronic tag after he failed to tell police his details.
John Jamie Justin Morgan, 42, is on the register for sex offenders and has to notify police of details such as his address, identities and bank details every 12 months.
It's to make sure he is properly monitored after he was convicted of a sex offence - but on October 25 he failed to do so.
On Monday (February 3) he was brought back before magistrates sitting in Northampton where he admitted breaching sex offence notification requirements.
He was handed a community order and will be under a curfew so he cannot leave his house between 8pm and 8am for three months.
Morgan must also take part in rehabilitation activities and pay costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £90.
