Kettering man admits sexually touching a young boy

Paul Murphy, of Greenfield Avenue, Kettering, appeared at Northampton Crown Court yesterday and admitted that he touched the legs of a boy in a sexual way.

He also pleaded guilty to another count of touching the boy in a private part of his body.

But the 54-year-old denied a further sexual assault charge and a charge of enticing a child to engage in sexual activity.

He was bailed under conditions not to contact anyone under the age of 18, until March 18, when judge Mayo told him he would either be sentenced or appear for a further case management hearing relating to the other charges.
