Jewellery, laptop and mobile stolen during Northampton cul-de-sac break-in

A burglar stole jewellery, mobile phone and laptop after breaking into a house in a Northampton cul-de-sac at the weekend.

Detectives believe the thief forced the front door in Mander Close in Duston sometime between 5.50pm and 8.50pm on Sunday.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of this incident and may have seen anybody acting suspiciously.

"We are also asking for residents in the area to check any security camera footage, or for anyone who may have been offered such items for sale in unusual circumstances to get in contact with us.
