Investigation underway after man, 31, was assaulted in Northampton

Detectives are asking for members of the public to come forward with any information.

A 31-year-old Northampton man was assaulted in the Kingsthorpe area of Northampton in the early hours of Saturday (February 13).

The attack is believed to have taken place between 1am and 5am around the Harborough Road area.

Detectives are investigating Chalcombe Avenue, Glan-y-mor Terrace and Kingsthorpe Rec as particular areas of interest in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "If you saw anything suspicious during these times or have any pertinent dash cam or doorbell footage, please come forward and ring 101, quoting incident number 191 of 16/02/21.
