House in Northamptonshire filled with smoke after fireworks thrown through front door


Two fireworks were thrown into a house in Northamptonshire causing burn marks to the floor in the hallway.

The incident happened at a property in Longmead Court, Blackthorn, Northampton, on Tuesday, November 3.

Offenders opened the unlocked front door of the house and threw the fireworks into the hallway at about 7.10pm and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have any information about what happened.

The fireworks caused some burn marks to the floor in the hallway and filled the house with smoke.

A police spokesman said the offenders may have been a couple of young men wearing dark coloured clothing, including hooded tops with the hoods up.
