Group steal £1,800 of items from Asda store in Northampton

Around £1,800 of items were stolen from the Asda store on Harborough Road, Kingthorpe including alcohol, razor blades and food.

The theft took place between 3pm and 3.30pm on Monday, February 8 after a group of people entered the store and began to put bottles of champagne and spirits into a trolley as well as razor blades and a small amount of food.

This group when pushed the trolley - containing £1,800 of products - out of the store without paying for any of the items.

Police have now released CCTV images of a number of people they are looking to speak to in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "The people pictured, anyone who recognises them, or anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number: 21000087390."
