Group steal £1,800 of items from Asda store in Northampton

Police have released CCTV images of a number of people they want to speak to in connection with the theft

Around £1,800 of items were stolen from the Asda store on Harborough Road, Kingthorpe including alcohol, razor blades and food.

The theft took place between 3pm and 3.30pm on Monday, February 8 after a group of people entered the store and began to put bottles of champagne and spirits into a trolley as well as razor blades and a small amount of food.

This group when pushed the trolley - containing £1,800 of products - out of the store without paying for any of the items.

Police are looking to trace and speak to the people in the CCTV images in connection with the incident.

Police have now released CCTV images of a number of people they are looking to speak to in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "The people pictured, anyone who recognises them, or anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number: 21000087390."

Police are looking to trace and speak to the people in the CCTV images in connection with the incident.
