Enraged passenger attacked woman at Northamptonshire shopping centre after zebra crossing dispute

A woman had her hair pulled, was punched and then pushed onto the boot door of her car by another woman at a Northamptonshire shopping centre.

Police are looking to trace a woman in a silver car who attacked a shopper in the car park of Weston Favell Shopping Centre between 1.30pm and 2.45pm on Saturday, February 13.

The silver car had stopped over a zebra crossing by the shopping centre. As another woman passed in front of the car, she commented about vehicle car having stopped on the zebra crossing.

The passenger in the car became aggressive and started shouting as she walked across to the victim. The victim ignored her and walked to the boot of her car.

The offender then pulled the victim’s hair, punched her and then pushed her onto the boot.

A man, the driver of the silver car, then pulled the offender away.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 40 and 50 years, about 5ft 4ins, with tanned skin and long, blond curly hair with highlights.

She was wearing a long grey dress with a black leather jacket over the top and knee high, black boots.
