Electricity substation in Northamptonshire targeted by arsonists

Police are investigating a suspected arson attack at an electricity substation in Northamptonshire.

The substation, off Clinton Road, Far Cotton, Northampton, is believed to have been deliberately set alight in the early hours of the morning. The blaze also caused damage to materials stored in a nearby builder’s yard.

Northamptonshire Police today released details of the incident that happened sometime between 2.30am and 3.10am, on Monday, May 25.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
