Police officers in Rothwell say they have been enforcing dispersal orders in the town in a bid to combat anti-social behaviour.

Four people were dispersed from Well Lane in the town following reports of anti-social behaviour.

And Police Community Support Officers were busy last week, taking community safety messages into schools in the area.

PCSO Kirsty Ellerby has just completed her final policing input at Meadowside School in Burton Latimer, with sector Inspector Matt Wright joining youngsters at the school’s assembly. PCSO Jayne Breeze visited Pytchley Endowned school to talk about ‘Being Safe’ and Donna Fenner was at Latimer Arts College, conducting parking patrols and holding a surgery with the students.

PCSO Peter Firth went to Wilbarston Primary and Loatlands Primary school to deliver a bullying presentation and PCSO Alan Sillence popped in to St Mary’s in Burton Latimer where the youngsters investigated a crime scene.
