Corby teenager admits having knife in public

A teenager will be sentenced next month after he admitted having a knife in public in Corby.

Aiden Robertson, of Llewellyn Walk, pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article in a public place after the incident on June 1.

He was in Cottingham Road when he was caught with a kitchen knife.

Earlier this month at Northampton Magistrates' Court the 19-year-old also admitted possession of cannabis after he was caught with 4g of the class B drug.

His sentencing was adjourned until August 14 so the probation service could carry out a pre-sentence report.

Magistrates granted him unconditional bail.
